Up north in Atlin B.C. I had a dream of giant sea turtles flying from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific west coast.
Thousands of flying turtles. Some become ill and are dying. Cause of death not yet determined. Perhaps the change of water,lack of proper nutrition, pollution. They also bring destruction and chaos to the human inhabitants.
The dream was the catalyst for my art. Paintings and an installation.

The Turtle is sought of as a mother of all warships ( Hindu ) and it carries goodness to victory over evil.
I was born in the year of the pig. The pig represents man. Those who have influence and power are not acting responsibly. If we would be greedy for our feelings of well being instead of wealth this crisis would end.
